I’m sure many of you have heard of the idiom “turn over a new leaf”. Well, let me break it down for those of you who have never heard of this idiom or forget what it actually means.
According to dictionary.com (yes, I did my research), turn over a new leaf is:
“to begin anew: make a fresh start”
The world just turned a year older about a month ago. You can say that it is a good time to start afresh and open up to new beginnings. So, is this blog a place for me to start anew?
To me, this blog is another stepping stone in my life. I have always been interested in writing and this shall be a platform for me to explore deeper into the world of words. Instead of turning over a new leaf, I guess I’m just a regular leaf that is drifting through the winds. Which means, I won’t be limiting myself with a specific style of content. Because…
A drifted leaf never knows
Where it will go.
A drifted leaf trusts the wind
To drift further.
Anyway, let’s just see how things will roll here!
