I first watched Mamma Mia! (2008) when I started
So when I heard that Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again (2018) is finally out, I was in ecstasy! I re-watched the first movie before I went to the cinema. I avoided any kinds of spoilers, though the trailer kind of did it already. You have no idea how much I fought the urge of wanting to watch the clips of the numbers just because I want to experience it fully in the cinema.
And I have to say, it was worth it. Again, I could hear my ABBA heart beating – “Waterloo” and “Why Did It Have To Be Me?” are my favourites. The numbers are still a WOW! This time, I was able to relate to the movie better as I indulge
Her life is the kind of life some of us want to live. Yet, it’s not that simple to do so; just like how Sam Carmichael felt.
Sure there are some things that did not really add up with the first movie. But honestly, all of that doesn’t really matter. That is just how good the movie is to me.
